You may download this game for your personal use or to be offered to your website visitors free of charge. This will allow us to contact you in case we have a new version of the game because of bug fixes or upgrades.

OVERVIEW:

This is a simple JAVA applet that implements a website poll that asks your website visitors whether they think your site is the best they've ever seen or not. The trick is that the applet only allows your visitors to choose 'YES' since the 'NO' button moves around the screen when the user tries to click on it with the mouse. The applet allows you to CUSTOMIZE it with your website name.

READ-ME.txt -- Information and applet installation guide.
websitepoll.html -- Sample HTML file.
websitepoll.jar -- File containing game class, graphic and sound files.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Click on the link 'Download Zip File' below to download the applet to a directory on your computer. If clicking on the link does not work, right-click on it and choose 'SAVE TARGET AS' from the pop-up menu.

Unzip the file websitepoll.zip. To do this, you will need an uncompressing program.

Upload websitepoll.jar to your server/web host provider account. Note: Upload .jar file in binary mode.

Place websitepoll.jar on the same directory or subdirectory as the HTML file where the call to the applet appears. You may use the following code in your HTML file:

Replace the parameter value "YOUR WEBSITE NAME HERE" with the name of your site. Example: "MyDomainName.com"
